Our Story

GT Bees was founded in 2008 when three friends joined together to make a partnership with the intention to grow GT Bees into a large beekeeping company.  Slowly, the company became single member owned.

Greg, the last remaining owner of GT Bees, has been working with bees since 1994.  He worked alongside his father Richard and purchased his first bee colonies in 1996.  After learning from his father, he has continued the family business and was joined by his wife Priscilla who loves honey in her tea!  Priscilla has since seen first-hand, other uses honey has, such as, wound dressings, reduction of allergies (backed by overwhelming feedback from our customers), and her interest/private practice as a Functional Dietitian Nutritionist.

Our goal is to provide strong hives for crop pollination and deliver the best honey varietals to your home.  If a top-quality varietal is too far to collect with our bees, we will search out a responsible beekeeper to supply nature’s nectar gift to share with our community of customers to sweeten your day!  In addition to bringing the best of what nature has to offer to your tastebuds, we will strive to make the website a community with content of multiple varieties such as beekeeping content, recipes, and other random bee related information.

What our Customers are saying...

I have seasonal allergies and was taking Claritin to control them. I didn’t like some of the side effects the drug gave me. I heard about local honey therapy for allergies and decided to give it a try. I noticed the lack of symptoms within two days. I use a spoonful of honey in my coffee and one in my oatmeal every morning and I am pleased to report that my allergy symptoms have not returned. Thank you GT Bees!

All my life I suffered allergies. I had to take allergy pills daily. Since I have been taking one tablespoon a day of GT Bees' raw honey I haven't had to take any allergy pills!!!! Every morning I drink a hot cup of water with lemon and the orange blossom honey from GT Bees. Sometimes I mix it up with apple cider vinegar, lemon, cinnamon and cayenne. So many different options. I should have done this years ago. I am now allergy-free!! No more ahhhh choooo!! I highly recommend GT bees honey!

I have been using GT bees honey religiously for the past 4 years and I have not had any seasonal allergies, which usually occurs each time the weather changes. I also send several honey bottles to my elderly mom in the Philippines who loves the orange blossom flavor and has enjoyed the  benefits of the honey while providing an extra layer of protection against the common cold. I definitely recommend this immune booster honey and I am sure you will see the difference in a short period of time.

Honey! There are so many ways to use and enjoy honey. My favorite is to mix it with butter and eat it on toast. When I tasted GT Bees' honey, I not only ate my toast but finished eating the rest of it right from the bowl with no toast. It's so delicious! Only by tasting it can you truly appreciate the taste of this pure honey!

I highly recommend this honey!

GT Bees offers excellent local honey with multiple flavor options at a great price. I love the orange blossom. Put it in my coffee every morning for over a year now. My allergies have never been better controlled!

I have been giving GT Bees Honey as holiday gifts for the past several years.  Our out-of-town family has come to expect the honey in their annual care packages.  My husband and I also put this honey in our ‘medicine ball’ tea every morning and it is delicious.  We are prone to extreme seasonal allergies and sinus infections, and since using this local honey on a daily basis, neither of us have been sick!  It’s absolutely the best!

We have been buying honey from GT Bees for at least 4 years. It is the best we have ever tasted. I don't bother buying store honey anymore. I started buying it to help with my allergies. It has helped tremendously. Thank you GT Bees for the tasty honey!
